For two decades, Beth Karas has offered insight, analysis, and on-the-spot reporting on legal stories from courthouses across the country. She's been called “one of the best in the business.” She can currently be seen on Oxygen’s specials “Catching a Serial Killer: Sam Little”, “Snapped: Notorious Hollywood Ripper”, “The Piketon Family Murders,” and "Unspeakable Crime: The Killing of Jessica Chambers."
In 1994, Karas joined Court TV as it was celebrating its third year on the air. During her 19 years at Court TV as an on-air correspondent, Karas covered many of the highest profile cases including Jodi Arias, the Arizona woman convicted charged of murdering her ex-boyfriend, Casey Anthony, the Florida mother acquitted of murdering her toddler, Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky, convicted of molesting 11 boys over a 15-year period, and Illinois cop Drew Peterson, convicted of drowning his third wife. Karas also works with Court TV as a fill-in anchor. Karas learned how to navigate the courtroom during her eight years as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City under legendary District Attorney, Robert Morgenthau. She has provided legal analysis and reporting to television networks and radio stations across the country, written articles published on CNN.com and elsewhere, and offers reports for other media outlets. Karas will also co-host a new true crime podcast for NBCUniversal’s Universal Content Productions (UCP) “House Of Prayer.”
