MEYER LANSKY II

A native of Tacoma, Washington, Meyer is the son of Paul Lansky (USMA, '54), and grandson and namesake of Meyer Lansky, the early 20th-century casino entrepreneur portrayed by Harvey Keitel in LANSKY (2021), Ben Kingsley in Bugsy (1991), and Lee Strasberg as Hyman Roth in The Godfather II (1974).

Since 1991 Meyer has worked to keep his grandfather's name and legacy alive and accurate, assisting royal biographer Robert Lacey with the book, Little Man: Meyer Lansky and the Gangster Life. He has appeared on A&E, AMC, Biography, the History Channel, H2, and the HuffPost Live, and been covered by the Jewish Chronicle, the New Yorker, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal.

Meyer makes his home in Nevada where you can find him officiating weddings and promoting Bugsy & Meyer's Steakhouse at the Flamingo Las Vegas, supporting the Mob Museum, and penning a collection of family stories with the working title, "Meyer Lansky’s Guide to Business."
